Lesson 2 - Creating a Romantic Atmosphere

Hello Friends,

You are probably saying to yourself. Wow! This sounds really difficult. How do I create a romantic environment?

Don't worry; just use your imagination and the ideas provided in this lesson. The art of lovemaking is a skill that has to be learned and practiced.
Remember, PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!

Create a space where you know your senses will definitely be aroused. Lovemaking is all about our senses. There is a whole lot of seeing, touching, smelling and feeling involved. It is all about sensuality and passion.

A man's definition of a "Good Lover" is completely different to a woman's.

Most men when asked whether they are passionate or sensual lovers presume we are asking them if they are sexually satisfying. The normal responses are, we were at it for hours or she had triple orgasms. Always a macho response! When we find out exactly what they mean, we find out that it is more about techniques and movements.

However when we ask women we find out that it is more about the setting and the atmosphere before actually making love.

Therefore in order for us to create an environment where both of you could enjoy the pleasure of lovemaking you will need to create a space where you know that it is your own haven.
This place we call the "sacred space".

The idea is to create a space in which you practice your weekly sessions, without interruptions, in a distinctly separate context from everyday concerns, and to add the dimension of ritual to the art of lovemaking. In addition, the simultaneous stimulation of the senses - through color, sound, texture, rhythms, shapes and objects - will inspire you to bring all your enthusiasm and creativity to the art of lovemaking.

Choose the room or area that you are going to transform into your "sacred space". The ideal will be a spare bedroom which you can paint using a warm sensuous color that arouses you. Empty out the room and start decorating it from scratch. Remember you need space so you can move around easily. So keep furniture to the minimal.

If you are thinking right now - "Oh we can't do it, we don't have the space". RELAX! You can, for example, create your "sacred space" in you bedroom, or temporarily transform your living room (when the kids are away!).

Let your creativity run wild! Decorate your haven with fabrics, paintings, romantic picture or photographs that give it a mystical or romantic or aesthetic quality that particularly appeals to you. Cushions, candles, flowers and massage oils create an excellent lovemaking atmosphere.

Creating this space should be great fun. Remember how, as a child, you made special places in your parents' house, using the simplest materials, yet imparting a magical significance? That magic is still available to you. We encourage you to do the same thing now. Discover how your imagination can transform an ordinary space into something marvelous and special.

Music is an essential ingredient in creating the perfect atmosphere. Think of sounds that bring you a pleasing sense of clarity and relaxation, passion and excitement - bells, perhaps, or chimes or any music that stir your hear. For recommendation for erotic music check our website.

Scents created by heating or spraying oils from certain plants can be very beneficial in creating the right atmosphere.

Extensive research in the science of "aromatherapy" has found that the evaporation of pure plant essences in the atmosphere soothes the nervous system, clears the sinuses, enhances erotic feelings, sharpens one's mental focus, and revitalizes the body.

All these delights are yours for the cost of a plant sprayer filled with water mixed with ten drops of your favorite plant essence, such as oil of mint, eucalyptus, lemon, ylang-ylang or rose oil.

Don't forget some naughty, sexy lingerie!

Today's Practice

You need about 2-3 hours during this week to create you your special place. Make it into an enjoyable task for the both of you to enjoy. Share the tasks. Decide together on how you want the space to look like, what atmosphere you wish to give it. Go shopping together. It will be an absolute turn on for nobody knows what you and your partner are shopping for.

As soon as you have everything you need, you may begin creating your love space together. Remember to include all the senses.
Make it playful and creative as possible, don't look at it as a task to be fulfilled, but as taking time for yourself and nurturing your relationship. Turn it into a playful game.

After you have completed creating the space just give you and your partner some time to enjoy it.
Take the time and acknowledge each other for what they have brought into the space.

May your haven fill your life with love like never before!

Make love and have fun...
